As our Head of Cyber Security, you protect our company and our clients from cyber attacks and ensure our various systems across Southeast Asia are security compliant.
You lead and nurture our Cyber Security Team and drive our cyber security strategy. This is a business-critical role, and you will be reporting directly to our CEO.

You will work with our team of experienced e-commerce professionals and engineers in one of the fastest-moving technology companies in Southeast Asia. Everything we do is enterprise-grade, growing the online business of some of the largest brands in the region.
You identify the most relevant demand generation opportunities for our clients and productize these. Define and deliver the product features to execute on our corporate and product strategy while meeting the future needs of our clients and users; deliver an industry-defining customer experience and use innovative ideas and technology to scale.
Specifically, this role will be doing:
Continuously assess and anticipate potential cyber security risks for aCommerce, for aCommerce Clients, and for their customers, working with all stakeholders to implement suitable protection strategies and technology
Mentor and grow the team in expert knowledge and headcount
Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, business partners and other stakeholders to identify appropriate security strategies and architectures, and to design and develop e-commerce security solutions for different channels
Develop and communicate security policies and standards for organizational data privacy and protection, and ensure that they are being applied
Help staff to see cyber security as a company strength rather than a barrier to business
Uphold security responsibilities as stated in aCommerce’s Information Security Policy
Monitor current and proposed laws, regulations, industry standards in Southeast Asia, and ethical requirements related to information security and privacy
Maintain data inventories and data flow maps as necessary.
Protect the company from data loss and cyber fraud
Respond to client information requests in the areas of cyber security and data security
Consult the management on information security products or cyber security requirements for any business initiative
Act as a technical information security reviewer of requirements statements, feasibility analyses, operating procedure manuals, and other documents produced during the systems development process and any information systems change documents
Take an active role in risk management and data governance meetings and the Data Privacy Executive Committee
Design, deliver or oversee all company information security awareness programs
Monitor the compliance with information security policies, procedures, standards, and similar information security requirements
Provide consultation and standards on the configuration of security devices such as firewalls, IT systems, and network infrastructure
Actively lead and participate in the response to data incidents, including follow-up with clients and resolution.
Assist with investigations into complaints about breaches of the act and undertake to report action as required
Bring pressing information security vulnerabilities to top management’s attention so that immediate remedial action can be taken
Prepare and regularly update information security policies, architectures, standards, and/or other technical requirement documents
Play an active role in aCommerce’s Data Privacy/Protection Program, Privacy Counsel, and compliance activities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
CISSP Certification is preferable
7 to 10 years of relevant working experience in the Information Technology field
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, including information security planning, budgeting, scheduling and assignment of staff and resources
Experience in implementing data protection in APAC countries based on multiple local laws and practices
Hands-on experience in security testing
Advanced analytical skills
Experience in managing difficult or sensitive situations
Strong ability to cultivate and build collaborative working relationships with a broad range of enterprise stakeholders
Ability to leverage data API and specifications.
Experience leading and managing IT and Digital Platform projects and rolling out those infrastructures across various technologies.
A strong people focused culture, ambitious and appetite for growth
Advanced knowledge of IT systems, processes, and information security practices
Experience in communicating with internal stakeholders, data protection authorities, and customers
English fluency is a must and Thai language is desirable but not necessary
Experienced in working with senior management inside and outside the company
Ability to represent complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand for non-technical stakeholders and clients
Good problem solving and analytical skills
